Join us for a traditional Yalda Night celebration—an ancient Persian festival that marks the longest night of the year and symbolizes the victory of light over darkness. This cultural event brings people together to honor centuries-old traditions through storytelling, poetry, and community gathering.
The evening will feature:
Cultural storytelling and the history of Yalda
Poetry readings, including works from Hafez
Persian music and presentations on the significance of the celebration
Traditional foods such as pomegranates, watermelon, nuts, and sweets
Our goal is to share and preserve one of the oldest Persian traditions while creating a warm, inclusive space for cultural exchange. This event is open to all students, faculty, and community members who wish to experience and enjoy Persian culture.
