The Associated Students of the University of Missouri (ASUM) is an entirely student-led organization advocating for positive outcomes for the almost 80,000 students of the University of Missouri System (comprised of UMKC, MU, UMSL, and Missouri S&T).

As a campus chapter of ASUM, we represent students of Missouri S&T on the ASUM Board of Directors and advocate for the issues that students at Missouri S&T care about to the UM System Board of Curators as well as legislators in Jefferson City and Washington, D.C.

Mission
The Council of Graduate Students (CGS) is the authorized governing body for the graduate students on the Missouri S&T campus. It provides a liaison between the school administration and the graduate student population. Representatives of the council serve on various committees on the campus and represent the graduate community to advocate their opinions and concerns on various campus policies. CGS deals with the procedural matters on campus and exists to share and discuss the information pertinent to all Missouri S&T graduate students. The Council of Graduate Students maintains open lines of communication with all the other governing bodies at Missouri S&T and other UM System campuses. CGS strives to maximize the quality of life, develop leadership skills and foster higher academic standards for the graduate community at Missouri S&T.

Turning our hall into a home! The University Commons Hall Association strives to make UC a hall everyone will love to live in. UCHA works hard to advocate for resident needs and desires, making sure everyone's voices are heard in the hall. We also put on numerous events every year, from traditional events like seasonal hall decorating competitions to fun game nights and grill fests! Finally, we encourage cooperation and comradery amongst our governors and residents, enabling all to meet new friends and create lifelong relationships No matter what kind of person you are, everyone has a place here at UCHA!
