The Missouri S&T American Institute of Chemical Engineers provides students with a chance to network with professionals. We host speakers from academia and chemical manufacturing companies. We also hold a corporate mixer the evening before each career fair.

Students network with the local St. Louis section of AIChE through trivia nights and plant tours. We attend regional and national student conferences where the Chem E Car and research presentation competitions take place. Additionally, our recruitment committee provides department tours to prospective students interested in chemical engineering.

The Missouri S&T Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers provides extremely important value to our members. We meet once every two weeks (alternating Wednesdays with Architectural Engineering Institute S&T) lasting around an hour with an industry leader talking about their professional job, representing their company, presenting various civil engineering projects, or providing different tips for being a professional engineer with provided pizza! Civil engineering students practice working together effectively, and we promote a spirit of congeniality. We accomplish this vision by offering one or two service project opportunities per semester as well as through competitions, industry exposure, leadership, professional development, networking, social events, and scholarships. We also organize the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) review sessions in BCH, with professor guidance and by selling FE review manuals.
