The Missouri S&T Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers provides extremely important value to our members. We meet once every two weeks (alternating Wednesdays with Architectural Engineering Institute S&T) lasting around an hour with an industry leader talking about their professional job, representing their company, presenting various civil engineering projects, or providing different tips for being a professional engineer with provided pizza! Civil engineering students practice working together effectively, and we promote a spirit of congeniality. We accomplish this vision by offering one or two service project opportunities per semester as well as through competitions, industry exposure, leadership, professional development, networking, social events, and scholarships. We also organize the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) review sessions in BCH, with professor guidance and by selling FE review manuals. Be apart of one of the most prominent engineering societies in the world!

The Badges of Entrepreneurial Excellence program recognizes the achievements of Missouri S&T students beyond the classroom. The badges are an iconic celebration of participation in experiences designed to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

A student who fulfills the requirements for a badge will receive:
• Digital badge/certificate for LinkedIn.
• Physical button/badge of that focus area (start with digital badge).
• Wording for use in resumes and cover letters.
• Invitation to the Badges of Entrepreneurial Excellence Dinner, which will include S&T Alumni, hosted each semester.
• A portfolio report verifying the events/activities the student participated in for that badge.

A student who completes all five badges will receive:
• Badges of Entrepreneurial Excellence sweatshirt/t-shirt/jacket.
• Stole for graduation.
• Certificate of completion (both printed and digital).
• Letter of recommendation regarding skills/experiences participated in through the program.

As you embark on this journey, the following steps will guide you:
1. Join Sub-Groups: There are five different badge areas: Leadership, Social Responsibility, Design and Build, Research, and Entrepreneurship. You may choose to pursue one or more badges at a time. To select your badges, please visit your Group page for the “Badges of Entrepreneurial Excellence” in MinerLink. In the “Join Sub-Groups” section, select the sub-groups corresponding to the badges you wish to achieve.
2. Complete Assigned Checklists: Based on the sub-groups you select; you will be assigned specific checklists. It is necessary to complete all items on these checklists, reaching 100% completion, in order to receive a badge.

The Ballet & Dance Club aim to open new opportunities to students to learn about the performing arts. Our objective is to provide a center for diverse forms of dance arts to be practiced, performed, learned, and enjoyed by the university community and local community alike. We focus on the appreciation and enhancement in learning art of dance through preparing for an annual production.
